Gordon Brown-Climate change

gordon browngordon brown

Its almost but not totally unbelievable what this government gets up to, and how they blatantly manipulate results of their own official government surveys. According to the results of a survey released today, UK’s total emmissions have fallen 0.5% from the 2005 figures.  Co2 emmissions which make up 85% of total emmissions has stayed more or less the same.
Typically, New Labour’s spin doctor approach to the truth has ommited to include aviation emmissions in the survey. If added the overal figures rise by a massive 6%! The environmental group Green Peace’s climate campaigner, Martyn Williams, said: “Leaving aviation emissions out of the Climate Change Bill makes a mockery of the Government’s climate strategy. Its plane unfair to expect all the other sectors of the economy to play their part in the fight against climate change while aviation remains outside the law.” Is Gordon Brown now behaving like god? Can he miraculously wave his finger and aviation emissions no longer exist? Whilst the rest of industry has to take expensive measures to reduce their carbon footprints, aviation can carry on as if their exhaust gasses don’t exist. You have to follow the money trail to discover why this is happening and who is benefiting from such blatant abuse of the electorate. Someone is making huge profits from this offensive abuse of the Climate Change Bill. Biased? Yes I’m biased having had to fork out £2300 for a useless new exhaust system so Ken can tell his mates in Brussels we are under the thumb.
