Hi Mike, I would like to pass on the comments I have received for a service we booked with you on 7th July 2010. You provided a service that enabled our Health & Safety Consultant to attend a pre-arranged training session. This involved collecting said person from their home, taking them to Paddington Station, making sure they got on the train, and then repeating the service in the evening when the consultant returned. Most people would say that this service wasn’t remarkable except the consultant had a nasty accident the week before and is confined to a wheelchair at present. Your driver Paul who was assigned for this service was extremely helpful, nothing was too much bother. He assisted our consultant through what is a daunting experience when you are in a wheelchair, to Paddington Station and accompanied them until they were on the train. Then in the evening the same process was repeated. Our consultant has said in their words “He was Excellent”. Many thanks to Mike and London Black Taxis for an excellent and friendly service. My husband Graham as Senior Director of Music Household Division performs on many State Ceremonial Occasions in front of the Monarch where it is imperative that he is on time. We therefore need to know that a vehicle will arrive as requested and be able to efficiently negotiate the very busy streets of London in order that we reach his destination promptly. Recently some American friends left a camera in the back of a taxi and the driver went out of his way in order to return it for which we are very grateful. The “Meet and Greet – Safe Conduct” Black Taxi service has literally changed my life. As a busy working Mum I was having huge difficulties collecting my daughter from swim-training in the evenings whilst trying to get the baby ready for bed. It was impossible to be in two places at the same time. Now Chris picks my daughter up after swimming and brings her home for me. He is always on time, I have no worries whatsoever about my daughter’s safety, and she loves it because he has a television in the cab which we don’t have in the car! Brilliant!!!! A Glowing Recommendation

We just had to share this email that we just received from our customer Mo.

I used London Black Taxis.net on 21st November 2009 for the first time. I am wheelchair user living in the Midlands and travelled with family to London to see a west end show. The organisation of London Black Taxis.net was very impressive from the moment of first point of contact. Regular contact was made between myself and the company to confirm pick up location, driver name, mobile tel number and registration details.

We were picked up in a Mercedes vito outside London Euston train station. The taxi was able to take me and my family (total of 6 of us) whilst the usual black cab could only take 5 people. Whilst I am unable to mobilise myself from the wheelchair to the seat in the taxi, with family assistance I could sit in one of the taxi seats. The driver took the wheelchair and stowed it in the taxi.

The driver, John Farmer, was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. We took a visit to Covent Garden and the driver showed us where the theatre was before dropping us off at Covent Garden – thus making it very easy to find our way back to the Theatre. The same driver picked us up directly outside the Theatre in heavy rain – again nothing was too much trouble for him. Plenty of fun banter on both journeys too which added to the fun!

I would definitely use London Black Taxis.net again. It took the hassle out of trying to flag down a taxi in London on a Saturday and made the day out stress free.

There are approximately 25,000 licenced taxi drivers in the Greater London area. Transport for London license the Capital’s drivers so the public gets a safe and reliable service.

We recently provided taxi services to Penny from Hong Kong.

Penny and her party arrived at Heathrow Airport. We provided our usual “meet and greet” service. We continually checked Penny’s flight arrival details in order to calculate the exact arrival time. Our senior driver Jon met them in the Arrivals Hall with their name clearly written on a name board. Within moments, Penny located our driver, and they were escorted to their taxi. Jon safely and efficiently delivered them to the door of their Central London accommodations.

Penny also booked her return journey at the time of her original booking, so she received her 10% discount on both journeys.

After returning home, Penny emailed us with this comment:
