Wedding Photograpy
Our in-house photographer (me) has had 35 years experience photographing weddings.
Prices for Wedding Photography start from £150.00 per hour within the M25 area.
To keep your costs down to a minimum, you will receive a computer disc containing all your original wedding photographs in jpeg/tif format. You will then be able to print as many photographs as you like using whichever printing service you like.
There is a supplementary charge for weddings further out from the central area of London.
Wedding Website
We are also delighted to be able to offer you your own dedicated “domain name”, 1 year’s web hosting, and wedding website for only an additional £250.00. You can choose your own colour scheme and even have accompanying music.
Wedding Taxis
Our Weddings Taxis are smart and comfortable. In addition to the traditional black taxi, we may be able to offer you a white, silver, green, blue, or red taxi (depending on our existing bookings at the time).

This weekend, London’s South Bank celebrates one of our great traditions: Morris Dancing. But with an updated image.
There are several events during the weekend, including:
5000 Morris Dancers Weekend
Pop artist David Owen brings a Morris-inspired large-scale installation to Southbank Centre, highlighting his irreverent and humorous re-imaginings of established folk and pop icons and challenging current image of the Morris dancer in English culture. The installation is complemented by a weekend celebrating the best in folk and Morris dance including live music, film and of course dance.
Morris Dancing on Queens Walk
One hundred of the finest morris dancers from across England assemble over two days for one of the largest gatherings of morris dancers in London.
Featuring Hammersmith Morris Men, Mortimer’s Morris (Nottingham), Pecsaetan Morris (Sunday only), Boggart’s Breakfast, Eynsham Morris (Saturday only), Stone Monkey Sword Dancers, Moss Brothers and Gog Magog Molly.

Way Of The Morris

We were delighted and very proud to be asked by the Cluster Munition Coalition to provide transportation for Branislav Kapetanovic recently. We provided taxi services to and from Heathrow Airport and to various destinations where Bransislav gave talks about his experiences and about the Cluster Munition Coalition.
Branislav Kapetanovic (born 1965) lost both hands and feet when a BLU 97 submunition exploded when he was going to destroy it at an airstrip in Serbia November 9, 2000. Branislav was a deminer working for the Army and cleared thousands of submunitions after the NATO bombing before one of them finally exploded. His greatest wish now is to see cluster munitions banned, and he is now active in the Cluster Munition Coalition.
“Cluster bombs present a greater danger for the civilian population than for the Army or “enemy” installations, they affect wide areas and continue to affect them for many, many years; I don’t expect anybody to be surprised by what happened to me – it was my duty, my job, but the majority of the people in the world being injured by these bombs are innocent civilians, a large percentage of them unknowing children.”
The Cluster Munition Coalition is an international civil society campaign working to eradicate cluster munitions, prevent further casualties from these weapons and put an end for all time to the suffering they cause. The Coalition works through its members to change the policy and practice of governments and organisations towards these aims and raise awareness of the problem amongst the public.
On 1 August, Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC) members worldwide took part in coordinated campaign actions to celebrate the historic milestone presented by the entry into force (EIF) of the Convention on Cluster Munitions. Globally, events and actions were built around the slogan, “Beat the drum to ban cluster bombs!”
The Convention on Cluster Munitions – the most significant disarmament and humanitarian treaty since the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty – enters into force and becomes fully legally binding on 1 August 2010. From that date forward, states parties must implement all of the treaty’s lifesaving obligations.
Here at London Black Taxis, we greatly admire the work of Branislav Kapetanovic and the CMC and were privileged to be of help in some small way.

We were recently involved organising a two hour, two taxi “Treasure Hunt” for a Hen party based on the world popular board game Monopoly. All the the games features were incorporated into the “Treasure Hunt” including the Community Chest, streets like Park Lane, Regent street, Leicester Square, Coventry Street, Piccadilly, right through to Old Kent Road and many more were involved. There were lots of questions and challenges based on the games format and great fun and hysterics were had by all concerened…see picture above. Hi Mike, I would like to pass on the comments I have received for a service we booked with you on 7th July 2010. You provided a service that enabled our Health & Safety Consultant to attend a pre-arranged training session. This involved collecting said person from their home, taking them to Paddington Station, making sure they got on the train, and then repeating the service in the evening when the consultant returned. Most people would say that this service wasn’t remarkable except the consultant had a nasty accident the week before and is confined to a wheelchair at present. Your driver Paul who was assigned for this service was extremely helpful, nothing was too much bother. He assisted our consultant through what is a daunting experience when you are in a wheelchair, to Paddington Station and accompanied them until they were on the train. Then in the evening the same process was repeated. Our consultant has said in their words “He was Excellent”. The “Meet and Greet – Safe Conduct” Black Taxi service has literally changed my life. As a busy working Mum I was having huge difficulties collecting my daughter from swim-training in the evenings whilst trying to get the baby ready for bed. It was impossible to be in two places at the same time. Now Chris picks my daughter up after swimming and brings her home for me. He is always on time, I have no worries whatsoever about my daughter’s safety, and she loves it because he has a television in the cab which we don’t have in the car! Brilliant!!!! How user-friendly is London for those with temporary or permanent disabilities and injuries?
Bus Travel
London TravelWatch is the official watchdog organisation representing the interests of transport users in and around the capital. They are “The voice of London’s transport users”.
Recently, London Travel Watch surveyed bus stops in the London in terms of their disabled-friendliness. Kingston was been praised by London Travel Watch for having the most disabled-friendly bus stops in the capital. 85 per cent of bus stops in Kingston are accessible to disabled passengers, as revealed by London Travel Watch’s audit of 17,000 London bus stops.
Disabled-friendly bus stops ensure buses can get directly to the kerb to allow easy boarding and alighting, which means bus doors are not obstructed by objects on the pavement, and that parking restrictions are observed around the stops. London Travel Watch says they will continue to press Transport for London and councils to do anything necessary to ensure bus stops are accessible for all.

Our “Special Needs Service” drivers are ready and willing to give you any extra assistance that you need, such as helping you down in the lift or escorting you to the train platform.
Licensed London taxis are specially designed to accept special needs customers in wheelchairs. Taxis have wheelchair ramps and safety belts to secure the wheelchair during the journey.
